Two pillars, one path

Two ways to walk the way

All of a person’s work is revealing the soul and binding it to God.

Understanding myself, I will understand it all.

How do we do that?

  1. Conversation Through conversation, you can develop awareness of your emotions, patterns and beliefs.
  2. Awareness Through awareness, you can choose what fits the path you want to walk.
  3. Choice Through choice, we can keep practicing, turning inner decisions into real change.
  4. Practice Through practice, we can live in peace.
  5. Peace With ourselves and all our different parts, and in the relationships in our lives.

Maybe it’s for you?

Who is this for?

Anyone looking to bring spiritual lessons down to earth, and live them in daily life.

Anyone who wants to own their story and step toward who they want to be.

And anyone who’s simply curious. That’s a great reason to start, too.

Behind the door

What makes working with me unique?

(spoiler: there’s no couch)

A real conversation There will probably be a conversation. A safe, open space to express yourself, get curious and learn.
So, how was your week? We’ll talk about everyday life. Celebrate wins, explore emotions, and look “behind the scenes” of the challenges you met.
Sometimes that’s enough Some sessions will be just that: talking. That alone is a powerful tool for relief and clarity.
A toolbox Somatic (body) exercises, awareness, calming and reflection. To process past experiences and choose from a clear, conscious place.
Yes, homework A small practice to carry between sessions. Because real change happens at home, in the routine.
Simple words, real depth A down-to-earth talk that works with foundational belief systems, going beyond surface-level symptoms. And no, simple doesn’t mean cynical.
I’m on the path too I try not to come from a “perfect” or “all-knowing” place. I’m in process too. We’re in this together.
My particular color Everything I teach I learned from Jewish wisdom and my teachers. If you like, we can read Hasidic masters, learn from Rav Kook, talk about prayer and faith. Not a requirement, just an invitation.

My story

Where paths meet

Shalom, my name is Oren Uriel Fishman. Nice to meet you! I’m 30, married, and living in Brazil.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been deeply curious about people and about how we experience life. I wanted to see humanity living good lives. As a teenager that showed up as education and social activism, and later as ecology and the environment.

Sound familiar? That urge to do good in the world?

Even when I was a farmer growing fruit and vegetables, people were always the focus: the team, the volunteers, the customers and their families. It was always clear to me that I was one part of a whole movement of change and awakening.

Meeting Nonviolent Communication was a turning point. It felt like coming up for air after a long time underwater. I realized that the way I interpret life’s events shapes how I experience reality. That’s my part in shaping my world. That’s where I truly have influence.

So I set out to get to know myself. And if I need to change and work on myself for the sake of a more moral society, a society of peace? Yalla, let’s go!

Alongside farming, I kept searching and learning, through spiritual paths and therapeutic tools. Every world I entered left its own mark on my heart. Somewhere inside me, all these paths meet:

  • Education
  • Social activism
  • Ecology
  • Farming
  • A year in a Buddhist sangha
  • Three years in the Red Path tipi
  • Nonviolent Communication
  • Nutritional guidance
  • Yemima’s Conscious Cognition
  • Derech HaNefesh

That’s how I came to the Ilma college and the tools of Derech HaNefesh (“The Way of the Soul”). Something clicked. I found an approach that weaves together three layers I already knew had to be present for real healing to happen:

  1. 1 Practicing awarenessWakefulness in daily life, attention to the inner space, and room between event and reaction.
  2. 2 Knowing the parts of the soulA holistic view of the whole system: body, emotion, thought, will, soul.
  3. 3 Faith and spiritual connectionThe widest stories there are about life and our role in it, drawing on Hasidic heritage and Jewish wisdom of the soul.

Today, Path of Peace is my way to keep meeting, growing and creating, and to bring along anyone whose heart is looking for a similar path.
